Michaels 20% Off Regular & Sale Priced Coupon!

Hi!

I love Michaels.
My friends will probably find me there once a week buying items for my cricut cards. haha

Quick tip: this store always has coupons! I always go to Michaels with a 40% or 50% off coupon and stock up on my supplies. I know other scrapbookers usually order their supplies via web but I haven't tried that yet...I feel like it is too expensive? ...unless someone knows a cheap website!

For example, I got an email with a 20% off regular AND sale priced items!

A Spooky Halloween....or not

BOO!
Is everyone ready for halloween?? =P

I wanted to get the Simply Charmed cartridge (it has a lot of cute seasonal stuff and more!) for my Halloween cards, but I can't seem to get a decent bidding on eBay. =[

So all my Halloween cards this year will be from the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge... which makes my cards more girly/cute than spooky! haha

Here they are:

Twin cards:

I really think the white lettering on black is really cool.

**so sorry for the poor photo quality...they are taken by my need-to-be-upgraded iPhone bc I don't have a cool fancy camera**

Materials used:
- Recollections cardstock
- Nana's Kids matstack
- All Dressed Up matstack
- Essentials Ribbon: white & grey
- Celebrate it Ribbon: Halloween
- Black sheer ribbon (part of my super old collection of ribbons)
- Martha Stewart punch (sorry I don't know what the specific punch is called anymore!)
- Halloween stamp: got at Joann's $1 bin section...when I went back to get more, they were all gone!

Happy Halloween!

A New Hobby

Hello!

My name is Dee and this is my first blog about my card designs using the pink/purple Cricut Expression cutting machine.
This beloved machine has been with me since February 2011 and I can't imagine what I'd do during my spare time without it!

I first discovered this machine and its capabilities from a person I used to work with and have been using my 'creative' side to invent cute cards for all sorts of occasions since then.

Beginning February, I've accumulated cartridges through eBay (probably the cheapest place you can get a cricut cartridge...unless anyone out there knows an even cheaper place...do please tell!).

Cartridges I own so far:
- Cricut Lite: Playtime (came with my machine)
- Classic Font (came with my machine)
- Hello Kitty Greetings
- Sweet Treats
- Create a Critter
- Once Upon a Princess
- Sweethearts
- Forever Young

Anyways, I am new to this whole blogging stuff...so bear with me!
